Zuzana Mrázová
Minister of Regional Development
Zuzana Mrázová (until December 2025 Schwarz Bařtipánová) has lived in Bílina since birth, where she graduated from a local high school. She then graduated in geography from the Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague and during her studies she joined the Department of Urban Planning at the Ministry of Regional Development.
Starting from 2006, she was designing and executing projects focused primarily on education and human resources development for 9 years.
She was elected to the Bílina Town Council in the spring of 2015. At the same time, she was elected Deputy Mayor for Investing, and in 2018 she was elected Mayor of the town. She was mainly responsible for investing, grants and urban planning and she presided over the municipal police.
During her tenure in the town administration, she became a member of the Chamber of Towns and of the Council of the Union of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic, a member of the Steering Committee of the Ústí-Chomutov Agglomeration ITI, the Regional Standing Conference of the Ústí Region and the Transformation Commission at the Ministry of Regional Development. She was elected the Second Vice-Chair of the Elbe Euroregion, a member of its Council and its Local Steering Committee. In the Erzgebirge Euroregion, she chaired the Sports Commission.
Zuzana Mrázová is married with 2 sons and her interests include sports, reading and walking her dogs.
