Igor Červený

Igor Červený has served since October 2025 as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic for the Motorists for Themselves party. He is the Vice-Chairman of both the Health Care Committee and the Committee on the Economy. He is an active member of several specialised subcommittees, including those focused on ICT and AI, the digital economy and crypto-assets, start-ups and applied research, energy policy, and the digital transformation of healthcare, as well as public health, prevention, epidemiology, and research.

He has a long-standing career in academia. At the Faculty of Education of Charles University, he lectures on digital competencies with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence; he previously held managerial positions there in strategic partnerships, distance learning, and development projects. He has been involved in the preparation and management of projects funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR) and the European Social Fund (ESF), the development of e-learning, MOOCs, and the FutureBooks system, as well as the commercialisation and transfer of research results.

Throughout his career, he has consistently operated at the intersection of digitalisation, education, and technology transfer. He has gained extensive experience at the Czech Technical University (ČVUT), the University of Chemistry and Technology (VŠCHT), and the Charles University Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer, where he focused on project management, data analysis, the development of educational programmes, and collaboration with both the public and private sectors.

He holds a degree in Information Science from the Faculty of Arts at Charles University. His core expertise lies in digital media, project management, and research commercialisation.
