On Monday, 15 December 2025, Andrej Babiš's government held its constituent meeting at the Straka Academy. It appointed the First Vice-President, a new Head of the Government Office and the Government Spokesperson and decided, among other things, that the regular cabinet meetings would be held on Mondays.

Immediately following its appointment by President Petr Pavel at Prague Castle, the Government of Andrej Babiš moved to the Straka Academy, the seat of the Government Office, to hold its constituent meeting. Karel Havlíček, Minister of Industry and Trade, was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister, while the other Deputy Prime Ministers are Petr Macinka, Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the Ministry of the Environment, Alena Schillerová, Minister of Finance, and Jaromír Zůna, Minister of Defence. The Government has appointed the Minister without Portfolio, Boris Št'astný, as Minister for Sport, Prevention and Health.

"Today our coalition government has been formed. We will strive to be a government of all citizens of the Czech Republic and we will try to convince even those who did not vote for us that we will be a government that will do its best to make our country prosperous and our citizens have a better life," said Prime Minister Andrej Babiš at the first press conference after the end of the constituent meeting.

The Government also appointed a new head of the Government Office. The post has been filled by Tünde Bartha, who managed the Office of the Government under the previous government of Andrej Babiš. The cabinet also appointed its spokesperson. The position has been filled by Karla Mráčková. “We also agreed that the Government would meet on Mondays, as was the case during my previous term, so that the Chamber of Deputies can be in session all day on Wednesdays," Prime Minister Babiš stated.

The first working session of the new government will take place on Tuesday 16 December at 11am.
