On Friday, 18 May 2018, as part of his working visit, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with Austrian Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. They spoke mainly about the current European issues in the context of the upcoming Austrian presidency of the EU Council, as well as about the Czech-Austrian cooperation in the sectors of transport infrastructure or energy.

Premier Babiš supported West Balkan countries on their way to the EU at a summit in Sofia
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attended the EU-West Balkans Summit in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Thursday. The summit was attended by EU leaders and representatives of six West Balkan countries - Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia. The summit focused mainly on enhancing cooperation between the EU and the West Balkans in security and infrastructure.

Premier Babiš met with Organization of American States Secretary General Almagro
On Thursday, 26 April 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with Luis Almagro, the Secretary General of the Organization of American States. At their meeting in the Straka Academy, they spoke about the role of OAS on the American continent, coordination of the fight against corruption and support for democracy in the Organization's member states. The prime minister and the secretary general discussed the critical situation in Venezuela and problems with migration on both parts of the American continent, in comparison with the migration crisis in Europe. Luis Almagro is the first representative of SAO who has met with a prime minister of the Czech government.
