For the first time in the history of the Czech Republic, a Czech Prime Minister visited the Kingdom of Thailand
On the third day of his Asia trip, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš visited Thailand. On Wednesday, 16 January 2019 in Bangkok, the Czech Prime Minister was received by Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The talks focused mainly on the defence and economic cooperation of both countries, but the two politicians also touched on international politics. He also met with Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwan and had lunch with the representatives of Thai partners in major projects.

On 15 January 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš continued his one-week trip to Asia. He visited the Centre of Excellence for Testing & Research of Autonomous Vehicles, met with the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Singapore, talked with the ministers of finance and foreign affairs and opened the Czech-Singaporean Business Forum.

On Sunday, 13 January 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš started his one-week trip to Asia First he visited the Republic of Singapore, where he met with President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday, 14 January 2019. They discussed trade cooperation, science, research and education, and defence cooperation opportunities.

Prime Minister Babiš met with Serbian Prime Minister Brnabić, welcomed the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on the settlement of Serbian debt
On Monday, 10 December 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš received the Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić in the Kramář’s Villa. They talked about the economic relations of both countries, defence and security cooperation. Prime Minister Babiš also assured his Serbian colleague of the Czech support for Serbia’s accession to the European Union.

Prime Minister Babiš visited Morocco and talked with the President of the Moroccan Government on trade and industrial cooperation
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš visited the Kingdom of Morocco on 4 and 5 December 2018. He met the President of the Moroccan Government, the Vice-President of the Chamber of Advisers, the President of the House of Representatives, and opened a business forum. He was accompanied by Minister of Industry and Trade Marta Nováková and a large business delegation.

Prime Minister Babiš talked with Hungarian Prime Minister Orbán on strengthening trade and V4 cooperation
On 30 November 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. During the talks in Kramář’s Villa, they talked about deepening bilateral relations, other opportunities for trade, as well as European issues. They continued the discussion at a working lunch in the Hrzán Palace.

Czech Prime Minister backed the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement
At an extraordinary EU27 summit, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš backed the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement and the political declaration on future relations. After more than a year and a half, the European Union has thus made a major step towards an orderly Brexit.

On Friday, 23 November 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met in Kramář’s Villa with Estonian Prime Minister Jüri Ratas. They discussed Czech-Estonian relations, digital agenda, security, cooperation in science and education as well as European issues. On the occasion of Prime Minister Ratas's visit in the Czech Republic, the Czech-Estonian conference Digital Czech 2018+ was held on Friday, focusing on the possibilities of mutual cooperation and experience sharing in the field of digitization and eGovernment.

On Friday, 16 November 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš held talks in Brussels with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission on Brexit, migration and the preparation of the December European Council. The Czech Prime Minister also met with Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality, Věra Jourová, and with Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager.
