Prime Minister Andrej Babiš to visit the United States, will meet President Trump
On Tuesday 5 March 2019, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš leaves on a three-day working trip to the United States of America. He will meet with a number of representatives of innovative companies with whom he will discuss the 2019-2030 Innovation Strategy. He has also accepted an invitation from the US President to visit the White House, where the two statesmen will discuss relations between the Czech Republic and the US.

Prime Minister discussed Brexit and the internal market with Commissioner Vestager
On Friday, 8 February 2019, at Straka Academy, Prime Minister Babiš received Margret Vestager, European Commissioner for Competitiveness. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Industry and Trade Marta Nováková and State Secretary for the EU Milena Hrdinková.

V4 Prime Ministers met in Bratislava with German Chancellor Merkel
On Thursday, 7 February 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attended the summit of the Prime Ministers of the Visegrad Group countries in Bratislava. This time they also met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The main topics were European policies and modern technology. Andrej Babiš and V4 Prime Ministers spoke about the priorities of the Visegrad Group.

Prime Minister Babiš held talks with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord of Libya Fayez al-Sarraj on migration and security
On Wednesday, 30 January 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with the Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord of Libya Fayez al-Sarraj. During the meeting in Kramář’s Villa, they talked mainly about the situation in Libya and the support of the Czech Republic, migration and related security issues. They continued the discussion at a working lunch in the Hrzán Palace. Foreign Ministers of both countries also attended the meeting.

Prime Minister Babiš: The World Economic Forum provides the opportunity to hear lots of interesting opinions
On 24 and 25 January 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attended the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He participated in the discussion panels on globalization 4.0 and the future of Europe. He talked with the Brazilian President and the Vietnamese Prime Minister. He also met with many representatives of major global companies.

The Czech Republic is headed towards becoming a technological leader
The Czech Republic wants to be the country of the future. The R&D Council, headed by Prime Minister Andrej Babiš, approved on Wednesday, 23 January 2019, a key document “Innovation Strategy of the Czech Republic 2019–2030”, which the R&D Council prepared in close cooperation with a team of entrepreneurs, scientists, academics and representatives of the public administration. The strategy sets out new priorities, which, if achieved, should put the Czech Republic among the most innovative countries in Europe by 2030. Part of the strategy is also the introduction of a new brand “Czech Republic: The Country For The Future”.

In India the Prime Minister attended a global summit and held talks with the Indian Prime Minister
On the fifth day of his Asia trip, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš visited India. On Friday, 18 January, he attended the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, where he talked primarily about the possibilities of economic cooperation. He had lunch with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Malta. He spoke with the Indian Prime Minister about the values that unite both countries and mentioned the plan to promote mutual relations to a strategic level. He had a speech at a business seminar and in the evening the Prime Minister and the Minister of Industry and Trade Marta Nováková moved to Puné.

Prime Minister Babiš concluded his visit to Thailand: I think we have done our best to make our companies successful here
On Thursday, 17 January 2018, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš concluded his visit to the Kingdom of Thailand and together with the Minister of Industry and Trade Marta Nováková and the business delegation, he flew to Ahmadabad, India. On the second day of the Thailand visit, the main item on the agenda was the participation in the Thai-Czech Business Seminar, where Prime Minister Babiš supported the further development of trade and economic relations between the two countries.
