Prague 5G Security Conference
An international expert conference on the security of 5G networks is going be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague on May 2 and 3, 2019 under the auspices of Prime Minister Andrej Babiš. Dozens of experts on 5G networks and cyber security from the EU, NATO states and other countries will attend the conference.

On Tuesday, 30 April 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš introduced new members of the Government to the office: Minister of Justice Marie Benešová, Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček and Minister of Transport Vladimír Kremlík. The introduction was preceded by the appointment of new members of the Government by President Miloš Zeman.

The V4 countries supported the removal of trade barriers between Japan and the EU at a meeting with Prime Minister Abe of Japan
On Thursday, 25 April 2019, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš attended the third meeting of representatives of the governments of the Visegrad Group and Japan in Bratislava. They talked mainly about cooperation in mutual trade, science, research and innovation. Andrej Babiš and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe then discussed the further development of economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and Japan. The Czech Prime Minister invited Shinzo Abe to visit Prague on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babiš met with the President of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia Alojz Kovšca on Wednesday. The main topics of the meeting were regional cooperation, migration and the clearing debt from the former Yugoslavia.

Prime Minister Andrej Babiš met with Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on Wednesday, 17 April 2019. They talked about mutual bilateral relations, economic cooperation of both countries and the possibilities of cooperation in defence industry. Subsequently, both statesmen gave a speech at the Czech-Vietnamese Business Forum and had lunch at the Liechtenstein Palace.
